Soul Calibur IV

Hello again! Today i picked up my copy of the new fighting game Soul Calibur IV. The cover of the game shows what Hilde (the girl with the fancy lion helmet and the mole), Siegfried (scar-face) and Yoda. In the middle is the soul calibur, which is a crystal sword with a little circle thingy in the middle. (BTW: Mine is the X-Box 360 version, so the PS3 version might look totally different.) Basically, it is bunch of characters trying to get hold of the soul calibur, soul edge or both and either destroy it or keep it. If you think fighting 4 fancy characters with only two is hard, in soul calibur it isn’t.(The AI’s are really dumb, and considering the new feature RING-OUT, it should be quite easy) The three new features are new characters (DUH!), a character creation feature and the ability to play on Xbox Live. The new way to KO someone is to RING-OUT him, is kinda irritating, as i find it quite annoying that when your about to pound a poor CPU into kingdom-come with a soul-crush, he drops into a river or off the edge of a cliff! I would give it a 8.0 rating, which is quite good.

Nvidia’s gift to gamers:A slice of cake

Hello world! I am talking to you about how Nvidia has been kind enough to pay valve to give all Nvidia gamers – yes- a slice of cake! FREE! However, according to the website, the cake is sadly, a lie. Fortunately, it is a bunch of 4 games which, actually are very expensive to pay for if you are not a Nvidia gamer! One of which, is actually around $10! Oh thank Nvidia! The four free games are Half life 2:Deathmatch (The one that costs $10), Half life 2:Lost coast (Actually a rejected level from the original game but suprisingly very entertaining), Peggle Extreme (A demented puzzle game) and lastly, Portal:The first slice (A portal demo). The one I think is the best is the Half life 2 ones. For half life 2: deathmatch, the joy comes in when hurling explosive barrels lying innocently around the map with your gravity guns at your friends, enemies and people who you don’t know (Make war, not love!). For half life 2: Lost coast, you get to smash up a few combine soldiers with a crowbar and fling a few around with a nice, handy pistol. Portal is a so-so game, as I hate hurting my brain with time-wasting puzzle games and enjoy a bit of the good-old FPS killbox games.For Peggle extreme, it isn’t one of those corny puzzle games starring a dinosaur or a stone frog shooting out beautifully engraved balls into a more balls. Although it does star a unicorn with a headcrab digested it slowly, it is a very fun game, as it includes references from team fortress 2.

Hello world! I am the person who made this blog! I know! How fascinating! I have two feet i use to walk with, two arms, a watch (timex G-shock) and a head! On my head I have eyes (which i use to examine things) and a mouth and nose (which i use to eat) and ears (Which I use to hear!). Ok. Time to be serious.
